Thirty-two Queensbury choral students in grades 5-12 were chosen to participate in the Saratoga-Warren Music Educators Association (SWCMEA) All-County Choral Festival on Jan. 30-31. Student musicians from 16 school districts across the region gathered at Schuylerville High School for two days of rehearsals and performances.
“I am proud of the commitment, focus and musicianship that our students demonstrated this weekend,” said Gregory Verheyn, K-12 Music Department chairperson. “Participating in All-County challenges students to perform at a high level alongside peers from across the region and expands their musical perspective, which creates memories that reinforce a lifelong connection to music.”
