The Queensbury Music Department will be collecting donations at March concerts for the Snack Pack Program, which is in desperate need of items to help feed Queensbury families on weekends and over the upcoming school break.
Through the Snack Pack Program, nearly 250 Queensbury students take home bags of food containing items to sustain them over the weekend. The program is completely funded by donations and administered by volunteers who pack the bags.
Please consider bringing a food or monetary donation to a school concert during the month of March. Checks can be made payable “QUFSD Snack Pack Program.” The Snack Pack program is specifically in need of: boxes of cereal, jelly (in a plastic container), and pasta and sauce. Other items needed include: oatmeal packets, Chewy granola bars, mac & cheese cups, mac & cheese boxes, Nutri Grain Bars, individually wrapped snacks, ramen noodles, tuna fish, and peanut butter (in a plastic container).
Can’t make it to a concert? Place an order from the Snack Pack Program’s Amazon Wish List. Items will ship directly to campus.
