SUNY Adirondack directly admitted the entire Queensbury senior Class of 2026 Thursday, Sept. 25 with a ceremony at Queensbury High School.

“Because you’ve received that admission letter ... that means your high school believes you — yes, you — are about to graduate,” said SUNY Adirondack President Anastasia Urtz. “You are going to finish with flying colors, and we couldn’t be more proud of you.”

“Over 60% of our students graduate from SUNY Adirondack debt free,” Postlethwait said, noting that the college’s foundation also gives more than $400,000 in student scholarships.

Superintendent of Schools Kyle Gannon said the district is grateful for the continued partnership with SUNY Adirondack.

“The college provides an excellent pathway for our students to take college-level courses while they’re still in high school,” Gannon said. “This saves our students time and money as they pursue their higher education goals and continue their educational journey after graduation.”

The event concluded with a T-shirt toss and photos with SUNY Adirondack’s mascot timber wolf “Eddy Rondack.”
