Voters in Queensbury Union Free School District passed a $82,683,153 budget proposal for the 2025-26 school year on Tuesday, May 20 by a vote of 659 to 286. Under the approved budget, a 2.5% tax levy increase will maintain the UPK-12 education program for Queensbury students next year.
“I'm grateful for the community's support and excited for the opportunities ahead as we continue to work together for the betterment of our schools,” said Superintendent of Schools Kyle Gannon. “This funding will ensure that we can maintain essential programs, support our dedicated teachers and staff, and provide our students with the resources they need to succeed.”
Voters also elected the following candidates to fill two open seats on the Queensbury Board of Education:
Jamey Hardesty - 740 votes
