“I’m extremely happy that we are able to recognize individuals that have left a legacy at the Queensbury Union Free School District,” said Superintendent of Schools Kyle Gannon. “It’s a special night celebrating athletic achievement, friendships and memories forged at Queensbury.”
All the nominees graduated from Queensbury in 2000 or earlier and/or participated in athletics at QUFSD during the 20th century.
“This is our third Hall of Fame induction ceremony, and it’s become one of our most exciting and rewarding evenings to recognize the achievements of Queensbury’s most distinguished athletes,” said Richard Keys, Queensbury’s director of physical education, health and athletics. “It’s a wonderful evening for everyone — especially the athletes — as they reunite with former teammates and friends they haven’t seen in years.”
Tickets for the event are $58 per person for a buffet dinner and cash bar. To purchase tickets, go to www.CUR8.com and search “Queensbury.” For more information or questions, contact Carey Breault at (518) 824-5699 or email cbreault@queensburyschool.org.
