The annual Battle of the Buildings volleyball tournament raised more than $16,000 for the Michelle Sullivan Memorial Scholarship.
It will become a legacy scholarship in honor of Sullivan, a long-time Queensbury Middle School counselor who unexpectedly passed away in April after retiring from Queensbury Union Free School District, where she worked for 25 years.
“Thank you to everyone involved in making this event a success,” said Kristen Murphy, who organized the tournament. “It is always a fun night to see our community come together and enjoy a fun-filled event.”
