Nearly 100 Queensbury students in grades K–5 took part in the Special Olympics Young Athletes Program on Oct. 17 at the Morse Athletic Complex. This inclusive event brought together young athletes and their partners from Mrs. Benedetto’s and Mr. Purtell’s third-grade classes.
High school volunteers Sophia Howse, Olivia Affinito, Cole Zarczynski, Ryan Higley, Carson Roode, and Diego Scotland — all members of the school’s unified sports teams — also lent their support, assisting students throughout the activities.
