Students at Queensbury Elementary School and the William H. Barton Intermediate School took a collective bite from apples during morning announcements on Friday, Oct. 24 to celebrate Big Apple Crunch!
The Big Apple Crunch takes place in October of each year, inviting New Yorkers to take a bite out of an apple grown in New York to celebrate the apple harvest and to inspire us all to eat local!
Chef Steve Sutliff and Josh Hodge distributed apples from Yonder Farms in Hudson, New York, to every classroom at QES and WHBI.
