The Queensbury Middle School Student Ambassadors volunteered on Saturday, Nov. 1 at Double H Ranch in Lake Luzerne.
Co-founded by Charles R. Wood and Paul Newman, the Double H Ranch provides specialized programs and year-round support free of charge for children and their families dealing with life-threatening illnesses.
The Ambassadors are school leaders who seek to create a culture of positive character and kindness within and outside the school community.
“This year, 20 student volunteers dedicated their time and energy to help prepare the grounds for the upcoming winter camp sessions through extensive raking and cleanup efforts,” said club advisor Amy Van Vranken.
This marks the fifth consecutive year the Ambassadors have had the privilege of volunteering at Double H Ranch — a tradition that continues to reflect their commitment to service and community.
