Modified girls flag football team.

The Queensbury modified girls flag football team won its very first game in program history April 28 against Watervliet. Ava Higley threw one and ran one touchdown, earning the first game ball of the season.

Hannah Dennett scored on a 40 yard throw and catch, evading multiple defenders on her way to the touchdown. Gwyn Starr scored the extra point on a catch in the back of the endzone to make it 7-0. Olivia Peck scored on a 4 yard rush next to cap off a 60 yard drive making it 13-7. After a few drives back and forth, Ava Higley capped off the win with a rushing touchdown making it 19-13. Zoe Sweeney scored on a 50 yard catch in extra time.

Estelle Lefebre had a day on defense with 10 tackles and two pass deflections. Olivia Eseltine capped off a defensive effort with an interception in the endzone.
