Queensbury Union Free School District is launching an improved district website this fall, putting the most important information front and center. Rather than requiring visitors to click through multiple pages or menus to find basic details, key information will be available immediately and presented in a clear and organized way.

“We hope this change will create a better website experience for our students, staff, families and community,” said Superintendent of Schools Kyle Gannon. “We want users to be able to find information quickly and confidently.”

Visitors will be able to spend less time searching and more time engaging with our content, including news articles, live feed announcements and important upcoming events.

“A more user-friendly website benefits everyone,” said Ben Grieco, director of Instructional Technology. “Ultimately, the revamped website should feel simple and informative — giving users the right information at the right time with as little effort as possible.”

The website will still be located at www.queensburyschool.org.

The Queensbury app will continue to feature all of the important information parents and students need daily — lunch menus, SchoolTool, upcoming events  — as well as a live feed that will push important news and reminders directly to your phone.

Users will be able to customize the new app to show building-specific information and updates.
